Hope everybody is recovered from the vigorous dancing on Saturday night, because we are back tomorrow with our usual lesson schedule!
In Summerhill Bowling Club, we will kick off with improvers lindy hop at 7:30 and then have our fundamentals class at 8:20. Meanwhile, over in St Matthew’s Church we will throw down with some collegiate shag – fundamentals at 7:30 and improvers at 8:20.
The after-class social dance will start at 9. See you on the dance floor!
For our Christmas social with the mighty House of the Black Gardenia at The John Marley Centre this weekend, there will be a CASH ONLY bar available on the night!
There will also be a food sharing table.

Join us tomorrow (Monday, the 25th of November) for fundamentals and improvers lindy hop in Summerhill Bowling Club, as well as fundamentals and improvers balboa classes in St Matthew’s Church! We will end the night with social dancing in Summerhill as usual.
Finally, our fabulous seasonal soirée is around the corner – remember to grab those last-minute Winter Ball tickets while sales last! This Saturday the 30th, we will have a night to remember dancing to live music by House of the Black Gardenia, listening to groovy sets by local swing DJs, and playing games. This Monday we have our regular Lindy and Bal classes:
In Lindy intermediate’s Elise and Alec will be working on mastering dancing on a dynamic and busy floor, be ready for anything! Beginners will be the 2nd week of Charleston, suitable for all
Balboa will be taught by Graeme and Sarah. Fundamentals will focus on throw outs from lollies and Improvers will show some more dynamic throwouts
There will be no Magpies live music next Monday, but that’s because there’ll be a whole extra night of live music on Sunday! Oct 20th at the Globe will be a great night of live music and social dancing with the Magpies and Swing Tyne DJs, get tickets for the event here:

Finally, our friends at Hoodoo Blues have some live music and lessons this week too. On Friday there will be live music from Michael Woods, a local solo acoustic Fingerpicking, Ragtime Bottleneck & Blues Guitarist based with four well received albums under his belt to date.
Doors open at 7:15pm, dance class 7:30pm – 8:30pm, followed by social dancing till midnight.
