You need to buy your chosen ticket in your stream and then apply to be a volunteer, via a google form. Once your volunteer place is confirmed you will be given a refund of 40%. Volunteers trade a minimum of 5 hours of time for a reduced price ticket that will still allow you to attend the classes, tickets are limited and T&C apply, these will be on the application form.

This Beginner-Improver level is for dancers who have been doing Lindy Hop for 6 months or more and feel comfortable with the basic rhythms, partner connection, and social dance etiquette. You should be confident with fundamentals like 6-count and 8-count patterns, triple steps, and switching between closed and open positions. Classes will focus on refining technique, musicality, and flow while introducing new ideas you can use immediately on the social floor.

You will need to have danced Lindy Hop regularly for at least 1.5 years, attended classes and some workshops. You’ll feel confident social dancing with a wide range of partners and tempos.  You’ll be able to confidently lead or follow a wide range of moves on the social dance floor including core rhythms, swing-outs, variations, and adapting your dancing to the music. Classes will dive deeper into technique, and musical interpretation, with an emphasis on quality of movement and personal style.

You will need to have danced Balboa regularly for at least 2 years, attended classes and some workshops. You’ll be able to confidently lead or follow a wide range of moves on the social dance floor, including throw outs from many different positions, out and ins, lollies, and swivels.
You should be comfortable social dancing to a range of tempos, adding spice with your own variations finding musicality and breaks in the music.

You will need to have danced Collegiate Shag regularly for at least 2 years, attended classes and some workshops. You’ll be able to confidently lead or follow a wide range of moves on the social dance floor, including tuck turns, pass bys, shag kicks, skates and camel hops.
You should be comfortable social dancing to a range of tempos, adding spice with your own variations finding musicality and breaks in the music.

Please note there are no classes for  Beginners-Improvers Balboa or Beginners-Improvers Collegiate Shag.
