Balboa and Lindy Hop are back next Monday! Both venues offer both classes of level. Doors open at 7pm, with social dancing until 10:30pm. First-timers are always welcome to try out for free. Details below.

11th April – Hoodoo Blues Dance Night
A fun night of dancing to blues with live music from blues band “2120”. Beginner-friendly dance class, then social dancing till midnight.

12th April – Swing Out at The Cluny
Our seasonal swing-out is back! There will be a beginner class open to the public, followed by live social dancing with the Niffi Oseyemi Trio. Pay As You Feel – all proceeds go to the band.

12th April – Venus Beach Club at Billy Bootleggers
Catch them playing a mix of swinging soul, rocking rhythm & blues, jump jive, and good vibes at Billy Bootleggers. Music kicks off around 5pm.

13th – 17th April – Southpaw Company: Easter Half Term
A full week of dance, music and creativity workshops – from breaking, popping and house to DJing, graffiti and contemporary. Perfect for bringing your young ones (ages 8–18) to experience something new, build skills and connect with others. All levels welcome.🔗 Details & tickets
Then on Friday 17th April (8pm – 10pm):
Swing Tyne leads a beginner-friendly session introducing swing dance basics (age 16+), then opening the floor to freestyle dancing, led by DJ A.D.S. A fun, welcoming evening to connect hip-hop and swing cultures for dancers and movers.🔗 Details & tickets
18th April – Bal Brunch
Join the party atmosphere at this free social dance for lovers of Balboa and Shag. 3 DJs, a food sharing table, and a vintage bring & buy rail. It’s the perfect place to meet other dancers, whether you’re new or experienced.
