Hope everyone will have a great holiday! Easter Monday is just around the corner—while it’s a bank holiday, we’ll still be here for everyone to gather and dance, though ONLY the Summerhill venue will be open for Lindy Hop classes. See below for the details.

11th April – Hoodoo Blues Dance Night
A fantastic evening of Blues and other tunes. Starts with a beginner-friendly dance class, followed by social dancing until midnight. All levels welcome.

12th April – Swing Out at The Cluny
Our seasonal swing-out is back! There’ll be a beginner class open to everyone, followed by social dancing to live music from the Niffi Oseyemi Trio. Pay-As-You-Feel, with all proceeds going to the band.

12th April – Venus Beach Club
Catch them playing a mix of swinging soul, rocking rhythm & blues, jump jive, and good vibes at Billy Bootleggers. Music kicks off after 5pm ish.
18th April – Swing Band Dance Night with The Bright Street Band
An unforgettable evening featuring a short dance taster workshop led by Joo-Lee & Andy at Sunderland Culture Centre. All welcome—whether you’re seasoned or just starting out.

5–7th June – Summer Tyne Swing
Tickets are still available for our very own fantastic weekender! Two days of workshops (three dance style streams) plus three nights of social dancing with live bands and DJs. Share with friends across the country—the more, the merrier!
