Lots of exciting stuff to look forward to in the coming weeks – starting tomorrow! It is bank holiday Monday, so we are only running one set of classes this week. There will be no lindy hop class – instead, we will have two shag classes for improvers and beginners at Summerhill. Social dancing will start at 9PM at usual, with DJ Harry serving up some hot tunes until 10:30PM!
On Thursday, we are back with our free monthly social dance at Revolucion de Cuba from 7:30 until 10:30PM – the usual event with your favourite local DJs.
On Friday, our friends at Hoodoo Blues are throwing their monthly beginner class and social dance. Pop in to Prohibition Cabaret Bar from 7PM onwards to have a boogie and meet lots of new people in a relaxing atmosphere of this iconic Newcastle jazz venue. Check out event page for details.
We are also excited to announce that tickets for our next workshop are now on sale! This one is for the shagsters – we have the brilliant Caroline and Joe visiting from Swing North to give us a day of improver level classes on the 7th of June.
